President Trump’s FY2026 budget request to Congress eliminates the Injury Center.

This request kicks-off the annual appropriations process in Congress. Now lawmakers will turn their attention to drafting the various appropriation measures needed to fund government agencies.

During this time, it’s imperative that lawmakers hear from their constituents about the importance of the Injury Center.  The programs and agencies that tend to get cut are those that lawmakers assume their constituents don’t care about.

If you don’t contact your lawmaker’s office, they won’t know about the value and impacts of Injury Center programs in your community.
